Better Solution for Your Metallographic Sample Preparation
The engineers in MAIMET metallographic laboratory perform various types of macrostructure & microstructure examinations, corrosion analysis and microhardness testing. They can evaluate defects, determine structural features, identify alloys, evaluate the effects of heat treatments, and ensure materials conform to required specifications. Under the premise of achieving the same analysis results, our engineers provide better sample preparation solutions to save cost and time.
Quality Assurance
Maimet has served more than 200 metallographic laboratories in China, including metallographic laboratories for ferrous metals, non-ferrous metal alloys, composite materials, circuit boards, and semiconductors. Detailed internal procedures are also observed to ensure efficient order processing and the reliability of test results.
Customers will receive a detailed Test Report showing the complete progress and results of each metallography and hardness testing.
Added Services
The first step in metallographic analysis is sample preparation. Samples are prepared in our lab using precision cutting, mounting, grinding and polishing techniques, as well as etching when required.
A scanning electron microscope (SEM-EDS) provides magnification to 300,000X for microanalysis of very small samples and areas of interest. During metallographic testing, the findings can be documented in images using digital imaging microscopes (Stereo & metallographic microscope) with optical magnification capabilities from 7X to 1000X.
